Hi! i'm
SYDNEY WILLIS
PHOTOGRAPHER & BUSINESS OWNER
Born and raised in North Carolina, I have been everywhere from the beach to the mountains! I currently attend Appalachian State University, double majoring in Commercial Photography and Marketing, and I couldn't be more excited! While up in Boone I plan to come back every month or so to photograph clients back in Raleigh.
When I'm not taking pictures, I spend my time reading, listening to music, and choreographing dances! I love to read fantasy and thriller books to relax in my free time. I also love to listen to music, and my favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Queen, ABBA, and Fleetwood Mac. As a former competitive dancer, I enjoy choreographing routines for my friends that still compete. Dance has been a part of my life since preschool, and I hope to keep dancing forever!

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO:
There truly is no greater feeling than encapsulating someone's personality in a photograph, or being on the field and getting that perfect shot. I love what I do because I can take a moment of time and freeze it forever. I can take something from being a memory, to being something tangible, that will last forever. Being a photographer is more than a hobby, or a job, because photographers capture the essence of what it means to live.
I love every new client I get, because it is another person I can get to know better. No matter who you are, you can be a perfect model! Some people come to me knowing every single pose they want to hit, while others have no idea where to start. If you are the latter, I am always prepared to help you with poses and get more comfortable in front of the camera! My goal is to create pictures that capture you in the best light possible.
